Evening Walk and Pranayama

Many a time, I have seen people going out for morning walk and then go to work with a relaxed and cool mind. But when they reach back home they get so mentally tired that they never take a step in going for an evening walk thinking "why should I?" This is perhaps a wrong decision as the stress inside is building up and morning walk can hardly suppress it.
Today all are so busy that only 1 out of a 100 would be seen free from a stress attack. Many often they visit a doctor and take pills to reduce stress which practically will not get the job done. After our entire busy schedule when we get back home, we get mentally so tired that we would hate going for an evening walk. But just try it once and see the result. There are many important factors which you need to keep in mind when going for an evening walk. The first thing is the environment you choose for an evening walk. Choose a place which is calm and mind smoothing. Our brain always loves the surrounding place to be changed every minute. So choose a destination under 2 km and start walking. Many often we find people listening to Walkman while walking. Just keep this Walkman at home and walk alone or with someone who will not screw your mind. Listen and feel the beauty of this nature while walking. One important thing happening unknowingly in our brain while walking is, it solves all problems which are unanswered and will relax our mind. This is possible only because the oxygen supply to brain increases at this time and helps the cause.
Second most important one is pranayama.Pranayama is otherwise called as the "breathing exercise". The ways to do pranayama is available on internet. Practice pranayama every morning than going for a morning walk. Yes, you will find your mind relaxed and calm. It is just a 15-20 minutes you need at morning to practice pranayama.After pranayama you can do meditation for another 10 minutes following which you can begin your routine morning activities. Both pranayama and evening walk will thus help you in giving relief to your stress. So start trying from today if you have not yet and feel the change. Live in harmony with this beautiful nature.
